Though the music of DER DRAKOS is not Metal but it has the many common with Metal – first of all – the devilish climate full of the satanic darkness and the ritual mysticism.
However DER DRAKOS used the others tools for their fascinations of Evil. First of all – The electronic music reigns here – trance rhythms, samples, melodies and sounds of synthetizer. All is very Industrial – rhythmical, cold and very gloomy… And the multicoloured, ominous recitations, mysterious invocations and the ritual verses (in realization of female-male sounds) was manifested at these techno-cybernetic phrases. And some compositions contain even the sound of heavy guitars.
The whole sounds very futuristic and sinister with military breath and sometimes reminding THE PRODIGY, LAIBACH or AGRESSIVA 69.
Though the material is already old but it possesses power.
