CONFIDENCE announces new drummer

The Swedish rockers from CONFIDENCE have just issued a statement about their new drummer:

“We're very happy we can announce today our new drummer IMRE DAUN ! In the short period he has been with us, he has showed a tremendous amount of dedication and it's a priviledge to work with such an experienced and great guy !”

Keyboard player Clas Sjöstrand on Imre Daun : “I know Imre for a very long time, as we are both part of the music industry since forever. Imre is mostly known for his work with Don Patrol, a band I was part of as well and he did 2 records with them, as well as being support for David Lee Roth. Imre has done so many studio-jobs over the years, as well as playing in well-known cover bands, but he always wanted to play original music again if he would find the right band. The guy is famous for his drum-sound, he hits those drums so incredibly hard !!!! I always wanted to play with Imre in one band again and when we were looking for a drummer I had to call him and fill him in about CONFIDENCE. Well, the result is that we did a jam-session in our rehearsel room and now Imre has recorded already the 4 songs for the new release and that feels awesome ! There are so many things I could tell about this great guy, he is The Man, The Myth !

CONFIDENCE on the departure of former drummer Janne Jaloma : ” We knew from the beginning that Janne is extremely busy as well with his other band and we understand that it is impossible for him to keep up with two busy schedules. We want to thank Janne for his hard work for CONFIDENCE and wish him all the best. For sure all of us will remain friends !”

About the future of CONFIDENCE: “As Imre fitted in so perfectly, we have no delays with recording the 2nd release, which is scheduled for an tentative October date. In fact, Imre conquered the studio already and nailed the 4 songs down in one day ! Last weekend, guitar-recordings were almost completed as well, so we can surely say that all is going well in the recording-studio. We're also busy with scheduling the first live-gigs, so make sure to keep an eye on us !

CONFIDENCE released their debut “PRELUDE” on May 23, 2012 and are releasing their albums through digital channels only with a schedule of 2 releases a year.
