ELUVEITIE Set to Release First Album in States

Swiss folk metal band ELUVEITIE are certainly not well known in these parts. In fact, they have yet to release an album in the US. All that changes with Slania, an album that captures the pure essence of folk metal without using gimmicks, taking a political stance or losing sight of what is
most appealing about the genre: its undeniable fun-loving nature!

ELUVEITIE truly enjoy playing and sharing their music, and that becomes evident almost immediately. Unlike most of their contemporaries who rely on Finnish polka melodies, ELUVEITIE music is based on traditional Celtic music and Gothenburg-style death metal, giving credence to their self-appointed classification as the new wave of folk metal.
