Cool Songs: Disturbed, Future Untold

Very nice progressive band coming from Texas. “Meyvn” is pure power/progressive, remind you with bands like Symphony X, Dream Theatre, and stratovarius….bands you are always listen to, bands you always fond of their tones…….just like “Meyvn”

Meyvn are 5 piece of American amazing musicians. This record, “Splintered Skies” , is considered the latest and I think, one of their best. Here is what I thought about these 10 tracks,

Disturbed:-
The vocal's attitude was that close to our legendary vocals Russell Allen ( Symphony X) and Timo Kotipelto (stratovarius). He got an amazing voice, which I admired a lot.

Future Untold:-
I really like this song a lot. It has some kind of different vocal ranges for the vocalist and different notes concerning the keyboards…….which I like of course.

One World:-
The longest song/track on this album., with a lot of playing…..I hardly spotted the keyboards…..there was keyboards but you can say the priority was given to the guitars.

Furnulum Pani Nolo:-
Great Spanish/acoustic playing in this song.

Let Loose the Dogs:-
Serious starting for this song. Also another different song with different kinds of lyrics……..a symbolic may be….it also got some different low vocal ranges….made and performed in a great way.

The drummer reminds me much with Jason Rullo (Symphony X) and the first Drummer “Into Eternity” ever had. He is great, I love his playing so much. It's good to find someone that reminds me with Jason “Symphony X” coz I see this guy one of the best drummers.

Although they are that great and talented, they don't have one permanent keyboardist….I'm so sad. They use keyboardist, but they don't have him as a member. They should think about it…hope so or may be I could join them!

Anyway, I guess we are in front of up-coming blasting band….get ready!!!
