The musicians from CHAIN COLLECTOR have considerable musical experience (CARPATHIAN FOREST, GREEN CARNATION, TRAIL OF TEARS, OPUS FORGOTTEN, NEON GOD, LAST CALL INC.). Additionally they gave also in different productions which I will not mention because we speak about CHAIN COLLECTOR now…

As that the band is from Scandinavia, and concretely from Norway, that this matter reflected significantly on works of the band… and it's well! The compositions are clearly marked of Scandinavian breath (e.g. AT THE GATES, UNLEASHED, IN FLAMES, SENTENCED, EDGE OF SANITY), I feel the breath in melodious progressive death metal tracks of band. The musicians wade forward with their music, quickly and predatorily with huge dose of melody colored of melancholy sometimes. Between death metal's heavy phrases I feel heavy metal's motives also, or black metal's themes. Besides sharp death/black metal's vocals here are frequent trumps in style of melodious vocal modulations remindful me song of CYNIC “Veil of Maya”, or here simply are power/thrash vocals.

The material is really excellent, very melodious, climatically and thereat still heavy and predatory!!!
