Seldom I have opportunity to review of death metal bands. We have the rule – Skowron occupies death metal bands. But this time I decided to review of the band because the cover of material absorbed my attention and I decided to listen SOLACE OF REQUIEM. Already the first sounds show that the music of SOLACE OF REQUIEM is not thoughtless threshing
Quick well well-thought-out compositions rush in my mind
Heavy technical or the “hexadecimal” riffs, the melodious solos, the good work of drums and complex parties of bass guitar as well as sharp growling create the typical death metal climate. Here and there associations remind the old death metal bands, e.g. MORBID ANGEL, GRAVE or DEATH. Though some patents run out beyond the frame of typical death metal, sometimes these appear in the progressive guitar motives. The pace of material is sinusoidal often, from very quick, aggressive threshing till slow dull, outright doom metal's slow down. Generally those complex arrangements create heavy, aggressive and even melodious the whole. The whole consists with 10 tracks, and in the material there is the cover-song of GRAVE “I Need You”, which ideally composes with the whole.
