Music of EXISTENTIAL DILEMMA is very hard to classify. Three men from the USA defines his music as mixture of ambient, post rock, metal and noise. They mention many bands, the bands influenced to their music, but I know only one the band – NEUROSIS and I heard really influences of the band. The climate of the whole is very dark and psychedelic, and in peculiarity is cosmic, or even minimal. There are quite a lot odd samples, psychedelic synthesizer melodies and mysterious sounds which ones give to the whole cosmic-trance mood. Sometimes sample's sounds invade to the music, the sounds associate with some tribal music (e.g. Aborigines, Indians or Africans) or the sounds associate with futuristic music and melodies which ones create different sinister visions and emotions like fear, anger, sadness or homesickness. Trance noise rule in the material. The metal music is a little. The metal motives in style of hardcore-metal sentences appear in only two songs, The motives are underlined by raw sound of guitars. The phrases associated me with NEUROSIS or EYEHATEGOD. The melancholy gentle guitar's passages appear somewhere in second the half of material, which ones pierce from noise's climates. Shouting sharp aggressive vocal illustrates vocal side, sometimes the sound's vocal remind scream in style of hardcore or else black metal. The whole material contains 12 pieces, which ones are able to mix in brain pretty well.
