INDIANA BRADLEY releases new single “Rats On Cocaine”

The build-up to 2023 is already underway with a lot of artists turning up and putting out singles taken off of the album expected to come out next year. Hence, the months of November and December would give us an idea of how 2023 would look like for artists – whether they’re going to change their sound or change their commentary, in terms of lyrics. In addition to the existing acts, this is also the time for the up-and-coming artists to put their foot firm going into 2023. Joining this race is Indiana Bradley, releasing “Rats on Cocaine”.

Bradley is a globetrotter, having spent time in multiple countries from Argentina to Indonesia – until recently only(5 years back), he settled down in Los Angeles. Travel wasn’t just for fun and memories, he intends to translate these experiences into riffs and melodies. “Rats on Cocaine”  reflects the same. Collaborating with A.F.I.’s bassist, Hunter Burgan, the song starts on a slow note but picks up the pace as we head towards the end. The chorus is catchy – making you sing along and even hum to the tune.

The song is about the LA culture and how the cocaine-fueled mafia dominates the city. Though it’s a very difficult commentary considering the nuances, Bradley manages to do a good job here. The guitars and occasional keys add a good vibe to the song along with a really good deliverance. A strong song to announce a 4 track EP, expected to come out on December 31, 2022 – so for the most of us this might be the first album to listen on Jan 1, 2023 – welcoming the new year with a fresh face on the playlist.
