CULT OF ERINYES spread the terrible gloom and the suffering by album “A Place To Call My Unknown” … Possessed and furious screams, ominous melo-declamations and growling verses throw the dark incantations into space invoking the Evil lurking in every of us … The murderous guitar riffs savagely destroy every manifestation of a Good, and the powerful impacts of drums completely drown the remains of conscience … Yea! CULT OF ERINYES induces the primary Evil! It invokes ferocity and hellishness… Now the time has come to Erinyes worship…

This Belgian trio has created a devastating Black Metal. Songs include the very quick powerful themes with elements of powerful decelerations, climatic solos and even clean guitars, vocals sung and the keyboards (bringing a bit of melancholy among the mighty aggressiveness). The arrangements spread far – from the classic themes in the style of old BURZUM, BATHORY and DARKTHRONE and ending on a more monumental accents, like Doom Metal or Epic Metal (in the style late BATHORY). The some decelerations reminded me the climate of band SAW THROAT (from the album “Inde$troy”). But this is only the surrogate of CULT OF ERINYES.

CULT OF ERINYES presents a very mature and emotional Black Metal, but despite the thematic spread , the prefix “Ritualistic” also does not make the music is particularly distinguished in that sense. However CULT OF ERINYES creates a powerful and totally atmospheric Black Metal.
