SKITZO „Heavy Shit”
Well well well, lets see what do we have here, an American band with a funny name. These were the thoughts crossing my mind while I was opening the Heavy Shitcd box.

PERPETUAL SUFFERING „s/t”
When it comes to black metal, the inventors of the modern Black Metal sound, the Scandinavians, often overshadow the U.S. Over the last few years, though, Black Metal has become such a worldwide phenomenon that a large outcropping of bands has sprung up in the United States.

SPEED KILL HATE „Acts of Insanity”
For a band appropriately tagged East Coast Thrash, the hardcore style must be brought up, considering the impact New York City Hardcore has on the thrash scene from the same area. Loyal followers of 80s thrash already know the legacy three of the band members have on the thrash scene.
UNEARTH „III: In the Eyes of Fire”
III:In the Eyes of Fire is the first album of 2006 Ive deemed worthy of a 10/10 rating. The reason for giving such high praise to this album is simple: every song rocks! These boys from Boston retained the aggressive, yet melodic and technical sound present on their Metal Blade debut The Oncoming Storm. Not only did they stay true to their sound, they improved upon it.

SADOMASOCHISM „Worship the Dark”
Thanks to the over saturation of murky-produced SUFFOCATION wannabes who overpopulated the metal festivals of the 90s, it can be hard to get excited when hearing about an unknown American Death Metal band. Grand Rapids, Michigans SADOMASOCHISM is one band that will kill this pre-conceived notion.
