“Well well well, let’s see what do we have here, an American band with a funny name”. These were the thoughts crossing my mind while I was opening the “Heavy Shit”cd box. I started to listen to it, and from the first song, not that impressed. As a band with more that 20 years I was expecting more. Don’t get me wrong, their good Thrash metal, but “been there, done that”. Is it me, or there’s a little bit of Ozzy Osbourne in Metalic Tyrants? Anyhow, great solo on this track, must be the best one from the cd, and I not only give them a 6 rate because of this song. This album would be a hit, in the 80’s, beginning of the 90’s, as they are a mix up of their main influences: Ozzy Osbourne, King Diamond and Mercyfull Fate mixed up with Accept, Sodom and Destruction.
I think they would impress me more live, perhaps with the whole festival spirit.
Good but not original Thrash Metal.
