TZEFA – Interview with Tzefa

New York's Tzefa is one of the most original metal bands you will ever hear. They combine heavy metal with killer riffs with the classically trained female vocals of Slava, who also plays violin. Tzefa's members and friends have been dedicated supporters of Transcending the Mundane, so when I finally got a chance to see them opening for Moonspell and Lacuna Coil at L'Amours I was shockeed at how good this unknown band was. They are currently finishing recording a four song e.p. that should be out around the same time as this issue. Here is the band to answer some questions.

TYPHOID – Interview with Typhoid

Power scene of both Slovakia and Czech, you surely know not from today. However, it surprises us all the time with new things. Appearing every now and then of new names of teams. Together with young bands, comes specific freshness of realization, every now and again better technics, supported with very good ideas. One's own talents, musical use advantageously for scenes, for oneself, and I hope, that soon and for you. I invite so on collation of truth, with your divisibility of attention.

INNER FEAR – Interview with Paraghus

Czech scene determines serious competition for our native scenes!!! Anyway almost every from you knows some concrete bands from behind south border (also I think about Slovakia). But I think, that not at all goes here for rivalry, but for world-wide interest with country under place of metal – music. Both our south neighbours how and we can to be proud with musical pearls, which without substance would be now to mention, because time to assemble on following representative Czech scenes – INNER FEAR – of band, which goes with usual track by e.g. CRADLE OF FILTH or DIMMU BIRGIR… what some from you can to estrange. But I assure you, that first it is proper to get to know with their music, and after that to advance conclusions…

SOLEKAHN – Interview with Amim

Always I thought, that most of French bands possesses the soul and in this instance I was not disappointed. But musical style which one Frenchmen propose us on this to record is not rich in sounds, whether in so-called musical ornaments, then in spite of this by their music speaks something deeper, something primitive, something what long ago fell asleep and now slowly regenerates – this Spirit of old death metal – of music, which almost of twenty years ago moved minds of most of population of metalmaniax on world, which ones wished of something more, greater douses of excitement – of aggression, madness, blasphemes and first of all Evils. So SOLEKAHN is following incarnation of that Spirit of old death metal, so let us not lose time, only to works!!!
