NEUROTIX new single “Loser”

Nirvana is probably one among the most worshipped Grunge act in the history of Grunge. Even though they were not the only ones who put forth the idea for a new style called Grunge but they necessarily were the ones to popularise it. The reason for it lies within diligent use of instrumentation and a perfect vocals courtesy Cobain to match it. Nirvana is easily the most popular band but unfortunately the death of Cobain made the band to stall and consequently breaking up. That’s where the new wave of Grunge come into action. With only a fewer bands portraying the true style, most of the newer bands incline their sound closer to Rock so as to break into mainstream easily.

Neurotix is much more than a one shot wonder Grunge/punk and trying to break out in mainstream easily. They try to recreate the sound of Old School Grunge so that us, the listeners could enjoy the good old Grunge. As a matter of fact, Neurotix would have been a fictional band if it wasn’t for the frontman to have an urge to form a band in the year 2015. Having been recorded independently, the band released a compilation which had some songs recorded on the basement. The thirteenth song, Loser from the Basement Recordings Compilation were their first song to be released this year.

Produced in Dr Caw Recording, the track has a bit of everything ranging from the original Grunge sound to the Alternative Rock sound. Following the footsteps punched by the Grunge supremacists, Nirvana-Neurotix would definitely make your day with their new single Loser. Riffage is heavy yet potential to follow the drums which takes sharp turns resulting in an all-out Grunge attack. Its clear that the band is bringing back the good old Grunge vibes.

“We’re bringing back what we consider to be an unfinished genre that left the music scene for over two decades, “GRUNGE!” Ever since the death of Nirvana’s lead-man, Kurt Cobain, the style has been mostly obsolete. This is the reason we are bringing grunge back! It makes the listener come alive with its high intensity and loud obnoxious tones” – Neurotix

The band is all set to release a new track on June 22 so familiarize yourself by liking their page so that you get to listen to the track quickly. I very much look forward to it and I hope Neurotix would make Cobain & co proud. Followed by the beautiful 14 track album the band is definitely the one to watch for this year and I really hope they make the most of this year.
