New DEMONOID album, recording in progress

DEMONOID, death metal 'supergroup' from Sweden is in the process of recording their second album. The line-up consists of Kristian and Johan Niemann (ex.THERION), Caligula (DARK FUNERAL, GOD AMONG INSECTS) and Richard Evensand (DOG FACED GOD, ex.THERION, ex.CHIMAIRA).

'Hello there!

Just a quick update to let you in on the proceedings of this here new album.
The drumtracking is complete and sounds MASSIVE! No fucking triggers, samples, soundreplacements or any of that shit this time either. Just a great-sounding kit and a guy who can REALLY play. Mr. Evensand has outdone himself yet again.

So onto me then: I've started recording the guitars for the album and they sound cool, hevvi, brOOtal and all that other good stuff. Im using some different recording techniques/gear on this album compared to what Im using normally, so its sort of a big experiment, but one that will turn out very good in the end (I hope!).

Kristian also mentioned that the band is going to record a cover verion of METALLICA's 'Battery', which will be probably issued on a Japanese verson of the album. No more details are revealed yet.
