Rot managed to impress me with their debut album and I was really expecting their next one in order to see if they could do that again.

“Provocativ” impressed me again even it differs a lot from their debut. I will start with something negative which is the production of the album. It is very low and lacks power. I believe that with a better production these songs would be better and this is something many friends of mine who have listened to this album have noticed. Rot's music is more atmospheric this time. Combining nu metal with grunge and metal ideas is their idea of music and this time they enriched it with Oriental and Byzantine parts. Many outbursts within the songs once again and an amazing singer! The album contains 12 songs and a video of making “Provocativ”.

I believe this band has a great future ahead of them and it is up to them to achieve their goals. I only wish them good luck and recommend you to pay attention to them right now and not later…
