22nd edition of Brutal Assault is slowly coming. MASTERS HAMMER, EMPEROR, MORBID ANGEL, OPETH or ELECTRIC WIZARD among confirmed bands

Twenty-second edition of the Brutal Assault Festival is slowly gaining more concrete outlines. The festival, whose fans come from all over the world, once again attracted great artists of all metal genres. A truly unique experience will be exclusive shows of legendary Master’s Hammer and Emperor. Brutal Assault traditionally takes place at baroque fortress of Josefov.

This year’s Brutal Assault festival promises a very strong lineup. Apart from Master’s Hammer and Emperor there are confirmed bands like Opeth, Morbid Angel, Nile, but also KMFDM or Electric Wizard. Norwegian Mayhem will come again to play entire iconic album of De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.

However, the festival is not about several major stars, but about well-balanced program so that everyone can choose their favorites. “We do not have just one big name, but we put our attention to the whole lineup,” says Tomas Fiala. “We build program so that every visitor could enjoy the greatest amount of their favorites,” he adds.

Brutal Assault 2017 Festival will be held between 9th and 12th of August 2017 in the OldArmy Fortress Josefov in the Czech Republic. The combination of eclectic lineup aspresented by selected worldwide acts and the historical area of the Old Army Fortress is what makes this festival unique.
