SECRET HEROES „Loose, High and Free”
The Secret Heroes website claims that “heavy metal just got a little bit dirtier.” A pretty bold statement considering aside from some songs about sex, Loose, High & Free isn't really that dirty at all. What they are is a well-polished hard rock band with some catchy as hell tunes.
SILVER MOUNTAIN „Breakin”
SILVER MOUNTAIN (Named for the Rainbow song) is not a new band at all,thy are a Swedish heavy metal featuring members of Stratovarious and Hammerfall.
.
TOWERSOUND „s/t”
Towersound's first album self titled, Towersound is really impressive for an initial release and even if the band suffers unfortunately of a really average recording. Even though there are some French Metal bands that are more impressive, Towersound have the potential to follow this trend.
.
NANOWAR „Triumph of True Metal of Steel”
What does the words American, Sharp, Chedder, Mozzarella, Swiss, and Nanowar all have in common? Anyone, anyone…
.
EDGUY „Rocket Ride”
Edgy apparently is becoming one of the big guns on todays Metal scene. They have a unique blend of fascinating song writing skills, thrown in with a little bit of humor.
SYMPHORCE „Godspeed”
SYMPHORCE has shown an impressive aptitude for their chosen instruments, with Andy Franck's vocals sounding nothing short of amazing against the band's backdrop of pure metal. Which makes for a particularly memorable collection of songs.
.
ARTHEMIS „Back From The Heat”
In the beginning Arthemis started out as a cover band doing Megadeth, Sacred Reich Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Helloween tunes. This of course led to writing their own music.
DIGGETH „One More Yesterday”
The first look on the cover art is an abandoned American pick-up truck, rusted out somewhere in the desert, lead me to assume that what I was about to listen to was a country music band. To confuse things I noticed the musician's names listed on the CD.
STORMBRINGER „Don't Think…Obey!”
Stormbringer formed 1998 with a metal style mixed with some hard rock, doom and thrash influences. In 1999 they produced a self title demo at the Pop Recording Studio in Somma Lombardo and went on the road in Italy with the 80's influenced metal songs.
.

.

.
OPTIMUS CRIME „El Rock Heavy (Vol. 1)”
What do you get if you take the music of Black Sabbath's first album and let Glenn Danzig do the singing? Answer: Optimus Crime!
.
OVERLOADED „Hail the Kingdom”
'Overloaded's style of music is very reminiscent of the sleazy, self indulgent, metal excesses of the '80s. Hailing from Detroit (Rock City!), 'Overloaded' hearkens back to the wild side of hard rock! Forming the band in the summer of 2004, the guys have already opened for many great hard rock bands such as Slaughter, White Lion, and Skid Row.
CHAINSNAP „Hollow”
The songwriting on Hollow is pretty solid and yet there isnt anything original or fresh available here, just average
