One Thing I noticed about this band. I have heard a lot of death metal bands, but sometimes their music lose me. I might go glancing, or thinking of something else has nothing to do with the music….in one word, “Boring” or “nonsense”. But this here band is different. I thought they would be like, “Ah yea! Another death band with a demo making it looks good” but no…I don't think so! I have been a long-time fan of Swedish Metal scene, and this band makes me know I was right!
“This Ending” is a Swedish death/thrash metal band. Their previous name was “The Plague”, but they said that the name change due to legal constraints. This band is all about a brutal vocals, amazing guitars strings and of course, purely fast and unbelievable drummer. Fredrik Andersson is their drummer, of course you don't need to know who is Fredrik Andersson, but in case you don't know, he is the drummer of the amazing Viking/death metal Swedish band, “Amon Amarth”
Anyone would say that, these folks are counting on Fredrik Andersson for free promotions, since they are pretty new faces, well…I don't think they really mind it, but I doubt they do that. This band plays from the heart, counting on no fame, or even free promotions. They are talented themselves, with awaken sense…
This demo, “Let the world Burn” hold a special tones. It contains of 3 tracks. The vocal ain't a beginner or even gets a throat soreness like most of demos that I get with a very bad vocaling. Since they have a member from Amon Amarth, they have nothing to do with them at all. Not the playing not even the lyrics. They manage to get themselves out of this frame, coz I think, that they will face this a lot.
“Seed of Destruction” is the first track. I really like this phrase, “I'm your master. I'm the seed of destruction”. The lyrics in the song fascinated me.
“Plague Angel”, the second track, is my favorite. What I like about this track, is totally different. It was the lead's track. The lead guitarist is pretty amazing.
The same excellence goes for the third track “Let The World Burn”. The lyrics were the center of attention.
In few last words, these people are serious about their job, they know what they are doing and they know how to get it. I really can't wait for their full length album to come out. Way to go guys!
