Viking, the member of THARAPHITA came up with the idea of forming his own band, in 1996, and that is how MUST MISSA came to being. Overcoming millions of line up changes, the band finally consolidated somewhere around 2004, and now it is a three-piece group of maniacs, whose third release’s review you are actually reading.

This is a proposition, to all fans of European thrash combined with black metal, although one way riffs indicate, that this is rather a thrash album, containing very simple sounds, not those are the musicians from THARAPHITA got the listeners used to. Here, everything turns around, like on a roundabout, but it is dull enough, that in a moment vertigo appears, and after that, there is only a moment till vomiting. The raw and chary riffs create an old-school atmosphere, fleshy bass brings to mind the bigwigs of death metal, and quite monotonous drum fills complete the whole. The connoisseurs of thrash and black will not find this album interesting at all, but the empty-minded rampage seekers will like this style.

MUST MISSA prepared a not bad album, filled with proper, but weak thrash material. Catchy melodies and rude power are still not enough, to move the serious thrasher or blasphemous black metal fan. Predictability and poor drums plunged this album in tar.
