Since 1986 BNO has been involved in many musical projects, but only CONGLOMERATORZ is his first fully own one. He wandered from ZYKLON-B to ETERNAL HATRED to end up in this place with Mike and JC. They have been experimenting with sound throughout years, by adding some more heavy elements and finally achieved their main goal: raw force arose.
And their newest album is just another thrash release which will get lost somewhere in the world of thrash trash. And the reason is quite simple – the album is extremely predictable and brings so many new things to this field as a farmer who does not rotate crops. Just listen to Deception at Sea and try to guess, which sound is going to be repeated in a minute or in another composition. What is more, this music is very dull, just does not grasp the listeners attention, flows through the ears and quickly disappears in the abyss of short term memory. The best parts of this album are those acoustic intros (Illusion series). They bring some variety, which should be used more often, not only in such compositions. And those episodes are not able to save this music from being close to trash.
To make the long story short, just let it go. This release is too weak. Does not bring anything new and even does not use the old ideas in never concepts or performance. It reminds me of one band, mainly teenagers (17 years old) who had some crap-like rehearsals some time ago. They sounded very bad – what is more, I sang there. Please, no more such things.
