CONQUEST is an American band, one of many, because there are at least four American CONQUESTS and even some others, mainly from Europe. This one is a pure thrash metal corporation which knows how to please all those, who cannot imagine their lives, without such dirty play.

When you are looking for a good thrash proposition on the metal scene, take a closer look at CONQUEST. This band is a sheer representative of raw thrash sounds. Something which Tiggers like the most. The sound is mixed very well, everything is just perfect from the technical point of view, arranged nicely. Especially the drum fills receive a further word, they are very good, dynamic, they carry the pace excellently. The rawness of this material simply pulverises, excites, takes you back to the years when no electronic crap was used to reinforce the music. And CONQUEST are real masters of such extreme play. What is more, their music is quite original and they do not copy their own ideas. Each composition sounds differently, is not repeated, the style and motifs change quite often and the guitar solos are magnificent. They can pulverize with their sheer power. Definitely worth listening to, especially ‘The Valley of the Damned’, which is a little masterpiece.

‘End Of Days’ is an interesting proposition for everyone who likes thrash and cannot live without such rubbish. They will find everything here: from OVERKILL to KREATOR and even more. Do not have enough money to buy this CD? ‘Steal this album!’
