Cool Songs: Dreams and Dust, Equilibrium, Across the mirror, Tristeza

This album – I'm sure – it's considered as one of the turning points for FS. The keyboardist is talented – since I'm keyboardist myself – I see that he is even too good and loud sometimes than the female vocals, which is why I have to follow up with them with a lyrics in front of my eyes so I can get what she is saying. Honestly, I have no idea..is it the recording problem or the vocals, that she can't be clear enough for us. Somehow in “The Letter” she manages to raise the tone of her voice, but still….not strong enough.

Being as a keyboardist, Leal is an amazing, but well…the additional brutal signing wasn't really as expected.

I guess the stars here are the violinist, and the drummer. I'm not aware of strings instruments, but the violinist manage to keep me with the music. He is fast talented. There is – of course – a full musical understanding. The drummer shines in every song with his speed. He also manages to have control on the bites.

Hard to find one unlike song in this album. I guess they repeated themselves along the album. There isn't one song that can stand for itself. Same Melody, same rhythm.

The story of Alice is pretty touching, but somehow, You won't feel it or even feel it's essence unless you follow up with the female vocals with the lyrics. And of course reading the story of the album.

note: 7.5/10
