This is GOD MACHINES first effort as a band and the CD only has two tracks so this review will not be very long. I do not have much info on this band other then there web site address and the list of the members. GOD MACHINE is a three piece outfit that leans toward an old school sound on the first track (The Devil On Your Shoulder). the track has a good sound to it for what it is as a demo, there are some good riffs and the song builds fairly well but it does tend to get stagnant about half way thru for they tend to repeat things. The drum work is fast and solid as the same with the guitar work. The vocals leave a lot to be desired and are quite flat even into the second song (In My Time Of Dying). this song is much better then the first for I can hear a huge ICED EARTH & IRON MAIDEN influence here. Over all for a two song demo I have heard worse but at the same time I have heard much better. Keep trying guys you have a long way to go.
