CAGE „Darker Than Black”
Let me start this review by saying that this disc just simply blew me away. Cage hail from San Diego, CA and have been on the scene for roughly since 1996.
BLACK STEEL „Destructor”
This cd was given a very aggressive title but couldn't live up to it. This is more of a progressive metal sound on this disc.
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY „Boozed, Boozed & Broken-Boned DVD”
This DVD has been looked for since the day I heard it was being done last year so the wait is now over and it has been well worth the wait. If you like your metal raw, mean and with lots of attitude as well as very guitar oriented like it is meant to be then this DVD is for you.
AREA 54 „Beckoning Of The End”
This London based quartet are a newcomer to the metal scene but it looks like they have been honing there craft for some time by there sound. The band consists of Lakis Kyriscou (lead & rhythm guitar & vox), Rob Hillman (drums, Laura Salmon (bass), Steve Martin (guitar).
…AND OCEANS „Cypher”
…AND OCEANS returns, and this time with a short album name, but with long names for the songs. But what about music? well, this time they come with more simplistic and repetitive riffs and a more industrial and electronic sound.
DARK DISCIPLE „Unholy Hate Gore”
This band couldn't have timed the release of this hate filled CD at a better time then the month that the world is to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. I do think that most Christians would find this Cd offensive and that is just what the band was striving for.
F.ROSES „The Legend Of A Dragon”
The spring inspired me in side of the blooming cherry-tree's country. Already this is the second Japanese band, which the music I have opportunity to acquaint.
