Calvarium is a new band which have signed to the also new Dynamic Arts records from Finland. The first impression was excellent as this release comes in a very well designed digipack edition with very well-designed artwork.
ANKH „Expect Unexpected”
Ankh is a Polish electronic progressive rock band which exists since 1991 and this is their fifth release. Although they are considered to be one of the best bands from Poland and have won several music prizes I doubt about how they can interest a metal fan.
BETHLEHEM „Schatten aus der alexander welt”
Bethlehem is a unique German band. You may know them as a dark metal band but this release (2cd’s) is not into metal but more into experimental industrial sounds.
DARZAMAT „In the Flames of Black Art”
What we have here is the re-release of the first album by this unique band. Their music seems to be written for a blockbuster horror movie.
TRAIL OF TEARS „A New Dimension of Might”
There are some bands that really piss me off!!! Trail Of Tears is one these. They try to create a mixture of black metal with gothic sounds and with a melodic death metal feeling.
MORGENSTERN „Rausch”
This is certainly not a typical metal band! I do not even know if I can describe them as a metal band. Their music is just rock with many folk influences.
ENTHRONED „Carnage in Worlds Beyond”
The black metal band from Belgium strikes back with a very good album. Extreme as always and dedicated to Satan they present us a release with 10 good songs.
