There are some bands that really piss me off!!! Trail Of Tears is one these. They try to create a mixture of black metal with gothic sounds and with a melodic death metal feeling. These things cannot be done and even if there were possible we do not want them! Black metal is black metal, gothic is gothic and death is death! Why should we confuse these irrelevant genres in order to be reviewed like a band with an original sound? No, it is not original! A melodic death metal riff with gothic keyboards and an operatic female voice! These things are funny my friends. I guess there will be some people who would like this kind of music but I would personally advise the band to decide what they want to play and then things will be better for them.
