Meanwhile, the album released its own forces in 2014 belongs for members of SLOWTORCH. It consists of 11 songs dressed in a digipack, which were played by the four men. The band was formed in 2005 and quite frequently they toured in Europe. Their musical fascinations come from Rock the 70s, a combination of Metal and Blues. I can safely specify that they play a typical Stoner Metal, what is clearly audible and the additional confirmation for this kind of music are characteristic “galloping guitars”. This style of guitar’s playing is a lot of here. Additionally between the stoner-metal playing you will hear the significant accents of sounds for Groove or Doom Metal.

For me, the music reminded the Polish group ACID DRINKERS. Well, Stoner Metal is not my favorite genres, although in recent years I visited some the concerts and there I had the opportunity to listen this kind of playing. Then I observed that these bands have many funs and the bands are interesting on concerts. And the people like such bands.

SLOWTORCH is well prepared musically and vocally. They are well-knit, and technically everything is like in Swiss watch. Sometimes the music is dark, quite noisy and certainly is dynamic but without undue exaggeration. I think that for fans of Stoner Metal, the album of SLOWTORCH is recommendable and is worthy to listening. I will not be anything invent and create needless aureola around the band and around the reviewed album. I leave it to those who like this genre, I will only add that the time spent while the listening to this album was for me another experience and musical adventure.
