Cool songs: Demons of the Sand, Forest, Like a Bloody Herald Remains

The group was started in 2002 in Milan, in Italy, and from the very beginning it was cultivating the traditional heavy metal. BLOODY HERALD has strong associations with the world’s famous New Wave of British Heavy Metal, and it is audible on their albums. ‘Like a Bloody Herald Remains’ is their first full-length record, released under the wings of My Graveyard Productions.

It is good, that classic heavy metal is still alive, and thanks to such bands as BLOODY HERALD, it will never die. All of those, who worship METAL CHURCH, PRIMAL FEAR, or GRIM REAPER, will definitely like this ascetic music. Inconvenient approach towards the process of performance differs this band from the others, as there is no place for ultra-complex sounds. Only easy and melodic music, with magnificent solos and fingerings, which simply float in the head. Chary riffs, ascetic drums and strong, solid vocal contribute to the whole, creating a classic metal material. ‘Forest’ is a great example which shows, that with very limited means, a good artist can create a fantastic composition. Sometimes psychedelic in sound, sometimes poetic, once extremely raw, suddenly to change into a furious battle of instruments. A very good and interesting proposition for all classic metal lovers.

The time has come to say, that pure power has been, is and will be formed by heavy metal. Other genres come from it, they drain from it. BLOODY HERALD give us an opportunity to listen to this becoming more and more forgotten sound.
