Cool Songs: The Witch

Another power metal band with a message from a past time, one has to really admit Rosae Crusis has balls enough to create music for an album that has more of a movie theme atmosphere if anything. Talk about a blast from the 80’s metal era, with high screaming tones to the flashy guitar workings of Andrea Magini for whom is accomplished enough axe player whom gives an added flair this group. Ambient drumming to the Iron Maiden sounding rip off vocal style this album is another copy cat band that lacks creative substance to their style. Song strengths are The Blackstone, Worms of the Earth and The Witch, overall not being a fan of power metal this album took at time tolerating some of the most repetitive boring compositions ever so heard. Downfall of Rosae Crusis Worms Of The Earth is the writing approach for which all songs sound the same; the only thing that makes up for this is the decent sound of recording. Dull, brash and uninteresting this album proves it all.
