MOONSORROW „“V:Hävitetty””

The Finnish capital city, Helsinki, is not only famous for its sobering-up station, which is the biggest in all Europe, but mainly thanks to the cultural background, part of which are MOONSORROW, a band created in 1995, by two cousins, Ville and Henri Sorvali. They describe their music as ‘epic heathen metal’, as the general idea of their music is to create epic metal art with a good touch of national romanticism and a distinctively pagan approach.

The Finnish gothic metal group was founded in 1999 and is closely related to another band with such origin, which is HIM, very popular around the world, thanks to its track ‘Join Me’, recorded for the original soundtrack to ‘The Thirteenth Floor’ motion picture. Finland is a country, where every kind of music is possible, even melancholic love metal, which has not got anything to do with… metal.
