From time to time I manage to break away from family life and in the moment of seclusion I write a few words about my feelings about of creative and musical life of others. This time I have the honor to invite you to travel with the band VLAD IN TEARS and their next album “Dead Stories Of Forsaken Lovers”, whose premiere falls on the most in love day of the year (Valentine’s Day).

It is already known from the first sounds that we will travel by ship across the vast ocean. Their music is like a depth that absorbs the human soul. The music is like waves, it rises and after a while it falls to deliver even greater, subtle sensations to the human body at the next tide. Listening these songs, one by one, you flow in the ocean full of gothic sound with a “male’s echos” telling the stories of life and love. And so you sail, flow and listen and from each moment the ocean absorbs you, in which you immerse yourself more and more, just to even more feel the feelings that flow down from sounds of dark-romantic tones. And the vocal like the sophisticated singing of the “sea mermaid” takes you to the realm of musical depth, where you are absorbed in forgetfulness.

Maybe, as I read about the band somewhere, this is not an innovative music, often associated with HIM or other creators of rock-gothic playing. Someone else can say that it was already seen or already heard. Still others will feel deja vu. But there is always some beginning, a shore from which we flow. And every journey or even a return to the place that we saw or to the song that we heard is not the same, because it’s new impressions and emotions.

This band don’t afraid of the storm in the ocean, they flow miles and show the rock-gothic course that worth going on.

VLAD IN TEARS is the “ship” that takes on a musical journey that may not discover new lands, but provides many beautiful experiences and unforgettable feelings. The combination of electronics with the guitar and the piano as well as (for me a very good) the male vocal means that songs like water easily fill your mind and at the same time the songs like a storm act on your sensitivity. And this “Love” (not only to the music), which on this ship “VLAD IN TEARS” doesn’t lack, maybe take you on a beautiful and at intricate journey. It is worth flow with them…
