The beginnings of this band are enrolled for 2011, when the guitarist Stefano Prejano and the vocalist Kate met and became acquainted. From this moment the Italian band was formed, that in 2016 it was complemented by next musicians to could create the current appearance and line-up in the form of four male instrumentalists with female vocalist. In this line-up, they released the album “Wrong Desire” in September 2017 under the label Revalve Records.

This album is about a woman, which she has lived a life drama resulting from the cruelty she suffered at the hands of a man. The musical style that album is Melodic Metal, where often has not lack of steel strong sounds. For me technically, both instrumentally and vocally they keep to level of professional musicians, which do not lack manual skills, because they are talented undeniably. The female vocal is melodic and flexible, which sounds great, both in the high and lower tones. You can hear that the vocalist feels self-assured, thanks to this her strength of voice gives the songs both aggression and anger as well as feelings and suffering. She has really a piece of a good voice that can pull our feelings and build unforgettable emotions. The musicians undeniably also build the atmosphere masterfully with the help of instruments. Sometimes during of listening you feel that their instruments are burning in their hands.

The songs take on a various features if it comes to their composition, they often start more sharply, more dynamically and then they transition into calmer tones, which are complemented by the vocal and at that time also are clearly convincing and intriguing.

If I had to compare them, then would be to the Dutch band THE GATHERING with Anneke van Giersbergen on vocals. WAIT HELL IN PAIN do not play typical Gothic Metal or Metal Doom like THE GATHERING from Anneke’s period. Although the songs are in similar climates of melancholy and sadness, however with domination of medium and slower paces.

After listening to the album I did not have enough, I turned it on again and I will reach for it more than once. Life plays different tricks, but this team is not kidding, they play seriously, matter-wisely and consistently, and all in order to satisfy the souls of the listeners, who often reaches for such music only to experience peace or satisfaction…
