The people created thousands various genres of music from the beginning of existence of the universe. But people tell that we not should to discuss about our tastes, though the people are different… The every ordinary mortal listens music which personifies outside his state and his interior portrays. However some genres of music exist which do not fit for some listeners. Personally I am follower of every music from the lightest balladic songs till the most hot tracks. But I do not digest some genres
I spended many years with charming virgin – “music”. And I met plenty of musical genres… Punk Rock is genre one of these in which I can't find the interesting values for me. Therefore when I received Spaniards' the newest Ep “Socially Dead” for review then I did not expect juicy pulp nor breakthrough in this genre.
The band was born by the four old Spanish musical eaters which decided to record the debut EP in climates of old school Thrash Metal interlaced by the energy of Hardcore with typical Punk Rock vocal. The album consists with 6 energetistic tracks. The beginning brings the intro “Incoherent World” where we will hear the scene from classic bar from the II war world with the sound of buzzer alarm, shots and powerful satanic laughter. But this is the introduction before sudden fast-shooting riffs with rhythmical drums from “Rich men`s war”. And the aggressive sound of the guitars are synchronized with regularity of the drummer's work. Subsequently we receive “Genocidal maniac” with controversial but true lyrics. The song tells about the corruption, the growing crime, the fall of civilization and of humanism on the world (so as the whole of album). We can additionally hear the insertions of various speeches e.g. Adolf Hitler in the track. Just the next song “Jail for Politicians” brings loosening and it tells about the political corruption. Obviously the musicians did not forget about solos – suitably energetistic like the rest of album. The backing singers are the plus of the work. They shout: “Jail for politycians!”. The fifth song (the second intro) is “St. Matthew 18” where the fragment of Bible (Mt 18, 1-6) was used. “Pedopriest” finishes the album where the demonic screams (like exorcisms) are nice variety.
The album marks the characteristic aggression and the speed of instruments as well as the vocal (despite that the band is from borderland of Punk Rock). BADFARE STATE did not record an epic work but it is piece of music Punk Rock recorded well. In total they would can play more quickly, more strongly, more brutal but yet these features are not the only determinants of musical quality.
