When I saw the cover-art of “Poseidon” then I expected some Heavy/Power Metal. However the sounds which I heard entirely destroyed my presumption… DAGOBA presented very aggressive and intense sounds inspired by many species of extreme music that is Death Metal, Hardcore and Industrial.

In the compositions you will hear the brutality and the heaviness of patents of Death Metal, the energy and the aggressive emotionality of motives of Hardcore as well as the rhythms of Industrial. “Poseidon” connects the furious vocals, the crushing strength of the guitars, the powerful hits of the drums with various the dark samples or the insertions of Electro, the orchestral expressions as well as with the melancholy vocal-instrumental accents. These multitude of subjects in the compositions causes that the whole is very intense and copious. The music unrelentingly squashes and after a moment the music soothes – however for a short moment only because here you will not find a mercy really, because the ship “Poseidon” has to flow further.

Reigning climate in “Poseidon” is dark, sometimes is frosty and terrific and also melancholy. This ship will take us in the trip to many places, not only on stirred sea but the ship also will reach to coasts of Far East for a moment and it clearly was comprised in tracks “Ha Long” i “Shen Lung”.

DAGOBA proved that French metal scene is really significant in the whole Metal World.
