EXPEDITION: DELTA is great undertaking of Srdjan Brankovic. He invited to the realization of this work the many good musicians. I will mention only several of them: Gary Wherkamp (SHADOW GALLERY), Richard Andersson (MAJESTIC, ADAGIO), Andrea De Poli (LABYRINTH), Joost vad den Broek (ex-AYERON), Rene Merkelbach (ex-GOREFEST) and Santiago Dobles (AGHORA, ex-CYNIC)… In total 21 musicians (!) took part in recording this material and this gave really unearthly effect…

Over the fifty minutes of the progressive artistry transfer the listener in different dimensions of the universe. Every second of work has destination and sense here… There are no cases here. Each composition is built by hundreds of masterly sounds creating the very climatic melodies and complex rhythms. And these themes evolve to the very logical whole, which is like a portal to different worlds … The music is very variable here… is very melancholy and placid as well as is simultaneously full of emotional expression, the passion as well as is full of the dynamic tacts. This mixture causes that musical sounds explore space freely.

You will hear in this music the fascinations of melodious Rock from the years of 70/80 (e.g. during the phrases with vocalists – female and male), Jazz Fusion (e.g. during the complex solos of the guitars and the keyboards) or Metal (e.g. during the heavy riffs and the strong hits) and even the Electronic Music in style of VANGELIS or KITARO ( I think about e.g. “Planets”). It can say that “Expedition: Delta” explores the opposite poles of Rock music. From one side there are very melodious and pleasant melodies of Rock, and from the second side there are motives full of energy and heaviness of Metal . Moreover the whole is connected by lots of climatic and masterly tacts…

You can not listen with impassivity those sounds. Always the something will nail our attention, for example easily the falling vocals into the ears or the perfectly arranged the instrumental themes. The album is ideal for people who take delight in the beauty of music.
