Cool songs: Evil & War, Mother's Cry, The Last Attack, Lady Black

Italy has something in it. What I mean is that this is the country from which the majority of speed and power metal bands comes from. Not to mention LABYRINTH, POWER SYMPHONY… etc. But those are only the second strings… BLOODY SLAVE has a chance to become a strong player on the Heavy Metal scene.

A poetic and even romantic intro does not inform about the content of their demo “End Of Prophecy”. Later on it is only metal, and very heavy one. The compositions are technical masterpieces: classic heavy double guitar riffs with tapping elements and dynamic drums, plus quite cool voice of Riccardo Sardini, and very characteristic growl in the background create a wonderful impression. The best first impression possible. This is a pretty nice piece of metal music, which easily slides into the ear and occupies it for a long, long time. Beginning with “Evil & War” and “Mother’s Cry” (over 8 minute colossus: nice and heavy riffs, cool drums line) equipped with nice vocals and interesting lyrics, cool dialogues between two types of voice, and changes in rhythm, ending on “The Last Attack” and “Lady Black”, which show, that the musical craft of BLOODY SLAVE is at a very high level. Each song has its own character and style, which makes it differ from the others. There is no place for repetitions, thus boredom, here. There is an impression that each song is something completely new and unheard.

This is probably the best demo that a novice on a metal scene could imagine. A great beginning. Let’s hope that the full length album is going to be as good as this little release.
