CONVERGENCE is the next Italian band which gave back itself soul for the Fanatic Alchemist, hahaha … This already is the next album of the band, although I know only this material. Anyway “Points Of View” is album very complex thematically, although the main stylistics of the album is Nu Metal with considerable influences of the classic metal currents, type of Heavy/Thrash Metal as well as Grunge, H-C and even somewhat Rave music…

In time of listening the album I had different musical associations, e.g. S.O.A.D., KORN, SEPULTURA as well as N.I.N… Here are a quite the lot unexpected changes of musical subjects – from the heavy guitar's patents to the calm guitar's harmonies or the piano's passages. The same is with the musical moods – from full of fury bursts of passion to gloomy and melancholy climates. The polychromatic voice of the vocalist leads this very diverse the whole and this vocalist modulates his color of voice according to the mood – sometimes sings like James Hetfield, another time like Eddie Vedder and yet another time like Jonathan Davis or Max Cavalera.

Some musical motives remind patents above-mentioned bands to illusion here but it don't disturb to recognize CONVERGENCE as good band.
