Proud to be aware of the existence of this band. ShamRain is a very exclusive case and unusual band coming out from Finland. Front-man “Mika” is the vocals for ShamRain and another amazing Finnish band called “Entwine”.

“Someplace Else” is the second album for ShamRain. Listening to this album is not like you are listening to 9 tracks, but to symphony of a broken hearted lover or someone in pain. One of the rarest band who managed to deliver this message to their fans and listeners, the message of “Pain and Heart aching”. Impressive musical combination with the amazing vocal ranges.

In a very short time, I've managed to study their words, and the reason not only for the simplicity of their lyrics but their effects in the soul and the feelings they carry while singing and playing. Fans and listeners can see themselves in every song, and feel the band's existence within the words and melody.

One of my personal songs on this album is “Slow Motion” since somehow I see myself in this song. It put me in the mood with them. Make me sing their words with my inner mind…

The keyboardist/pianist is just on of the most amazing one I have ever heard. Wish he could be my piano teacher. Can't believe what a magical fingers he got.

It's shame if you don't have this album. You'd better listen to it to know how I feel about it. It's an amazing piece of art. Can't wait for their new release.
