The majority of Japanese hordes (which I know) play the power/heavy metal. However PSYCHOTOBLACK plays the little popular sort of metal, which define the sludge/doom metal. The team is creating: Nobuyuki Sentou – bass, Shingo Kikuchi – guitar, Shigenori Kobayashi – guitar, Kenji Saitou – drums as well as Hiroyuki Takano – vocal. If I have to compare their music to some concrete band that only I have association with EYEHATEGOD (but PSYCHOTOBLACK plays more slowly) and a bit of old CATHEDRAL (but PSYCHOTOBLACK is not such melodious). The demo consists the four slow, trance tracks, leaning on the hard and simple riffs and the stertorous (just in style of EYEHATEGOD) or the monotonously singing vocal as well as on slow, but the complex rhythmic of drums and bass which advances to the foreground here and there
from time to time these heavy slowly flowing arrangements are break by the sharper and speed hard core or industrial's motives (this remind me the immortal GODFLESH) as well as by the psychedelic parties of guitars or by the vocal's samples. The music is ideal for maniacs such monotonous of playing, without the superfluous embellishment in style of keys or feminine singings.
