MOB RULES „Hollowed Be Thy Name”

I have been looking forward to this disc since early in the year when I heard that the band had started recording. In my opinion this band is one of the top metal bands from Germany. Along side bands such as Primal Fear, Gamma Ray, Grave Digger, and Running Wild this band can very well hold there own. The disc explodes with the opening trak Hollowed Be Thy Name which will grab you by the balls and will not let go. Klaus Dirks vocal presence on this disc is the strongest he has delivered to date out of the three disc's the band has done. The one most noticable area of the disc is the band itself. Oliver Fuhlhage and Matthias Mineur deliver a harder sounding guitar sound with a little more edge then the earlier discs. Thorsten Plorin on bass and Arved Mannott on drums work will together to accent the work being done by the two guitar's. Also the keyboards are played by Sascha Onnen which gives this disc its melodic sound and the perfect balance between melodic and power metal. Anyone into the bands early works, Savage Land,and Temple of Two Suns will love this disc. By far there best piece of work to date. For those that have never heard this band before they are in the Primal Fear, Gamma Ray vain with a little Rapsody thrown in. GREAT DISC gets a 9 out of 10
