LILITH „Live One”

It is my next meeting with LILITH. It is this time material from concert in D. K. Golebiow / Radom (14.03.2003). I remind, that LILITH is earlier REGNUM IRAE. Material contains 3 tracks as well as cover song SLAYER of “Seasons In The Abbyss”… but maybe in order… I have to admit, that like in the concert conditions – I suspect – the community centre – then sound is registered well… and musical realisation it is as well… “Zemsta” – the first song after innocent leaning with short passage of guitar beginning turns into enough dull and quick parties of guitars as well as drums (for LILITH – obviously), enriched psychedelic keys. The whole crosses in vocalist of accent who give the music of colour of Gothic taste and specific dark mood's melodious tone… In the track appear dull and sharp motives and gentle keys with emphasising or melodious parties of guitars as well as key of solo… “The End Of The Great Romance” – it's melodious – melancholy tone LILITH. Already calmer pace, more sedate.

The whole is gently lead by singing Lorien, the being useful small dose of darkness and creating the nostalgic-dark tune… The “Tesknota” – this track is in Polish, which introduces us in calm melancholy mood (thanks to use of emphasising parties of bass, melodious guitar, gentle keys as well as singing Lorien)…Came time for “Season In The Abbyss” – which was for me total surprise! The climate what created the musicians with Lorien (the emphasising keys and very specific prepare the playing SLAYER) unearthly altered the face of this aggressive thrash metal band. The track took different dimension completely!!! Less aggression but for this more darkness and madness, what in mouths Lorien sounded unearthly really. And instead of guitar solo – solo on keys in style psychedelic-progressive-jazz bands (hihihi). I did not expect even how was been possible so diametrically to alter the character of track. There now I assure fans of SLAYER that is to hear continually that it is then tune of SLAYER, but on condition that someone heard it in original version, hehehe. Generally the character of music LILITH except Gothic climate is strongly replete progression as well as gentle influences of rock, or the even heavier species of metal. Only it's a pity that vocal was recorded in three first tracks too loud, what unfortunately caused that guitars had lightly in background. Well, it is the recording from concert and in spite of all it is worth to listen. It in studio will be better surely.
