A band that i never heard of…… Hmm… Wonder what that is. Infliction – The faint smell of suicide. I was expecting standard US Death Metal. But after a short intro, my speakers blasts out some cool Swedish MeloDeath Metal like In Flames!!!
Cool. The vocals appear and starts off like typical Death Metal Growl but soon the music changes to more melodic style and so does the Vocals! Even some keyboards and accoustic are thrown into the music, meanwhile the music slows down. Very surprising and very varieted. If you like In Flames and Dark Tranquility most melodic moments, you will like this band. The Guitarrists of this play some really cool leads like Amott from Arch Enemy (not as good, but they certainly have some power and could make it big) and also the powerriffing are excellent. I can honestly only say good things about this band. Maybe it's because that i didn't expect anything at all, but they are great. A must have cd for Metal Headz into Melodic and agressive Death Metal. Band you head this album and enjoy their emotional moments. Welcome to the MeloDeath superleague Infliction. I rank you along with In Flames and Darl Tranquillity. Cheers.
