EDENBRIDGE – Interview with Sabine Edelsbacher

After the metal boom in the late 90, appeared lots of new metal bands. Dozens of them sound as Helloween clones, but some, have their own, unique style. “Angelic Bombast Metal” played by Edenbridge shows metal inspired by musicals and symphonic music. A perfect combination of these genres made Edenbridge one of the best bands on the metal scene these days. I have asked the person who is responisble for the “angelic” side of Edenbridge about new album and few more things . Ladies and gentleman…. Sabine Edelsbacher!!!

THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT – Interview with Sjoerd

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Sjoerd Visch, drummer of the brutal Dutch Death Metal band “MONOLITH DEATHCULT”. If you're not familiar with “MONOLITH DEATHCULT”,they are defiantly a band that you should check out if you're a Death Metal fan. Their style is unique in that they use a 3 man vocal attack on your senses. They are very experienced in that they have also lead their talents in bands such as “ALTAR”, “DEADHEAD”, “ETERNAL CONSPIRACY”, “EXPOSING INNARDS”, and “SLAYNE”. I hope you enjoy the following interview and I hope that after you have finished reading it, you head out to your local record store and pick up their brutal release “The Apotheosis”. Enjoy

PATOLOGICUM – Interview with Piotr (voc.)

What you should know about PATOLOGICUM is that they have a great sense of humor. Many times I’ve almost laughed myself to death by what Piotr wrote to me. I laughed at myself. An accurate answer from somebody who has something to say isn’t a shame. But that had to be this way when two people, listening to different kind of music, meet. Me – a fan of thrash/death music and him, who loves brutal grind/death. But I tell you I learned a lot about this music and now have a different view on it. Well, some people listen to it, so as a journalist (and a curious man) I wanted to understand what is so attracting in this music. It is nice to listen to what a person says about a thing, but what’s the place you reach to gain best information? A source. A root. I don’t know what I was waiting for. Grind was there, existing as something marginal and unimportant. I thought I would never get interested in it. But I have to admit that Piotr did o a lot of great job, for now I have more respect for those who play grind. And that’s the second reason you should read this interview.
