DOMAIN „…from Oblivion”
After a three-year suspension Domain regrouped, and recorded “From Oblivion” which was released on Apocalypse Productions in 2000. From Oblivion is a mix of many different styles of metal, which really makes it stand out in a sometimes-crowed metal scene.

First riffs of this album remind me a lot that project of Jason Newsted with Devin Townsend called IR8, it's like Celtic Frost going a little bit hardcore and using vocals that wanted to grunt but not reaching that level. The use of acoustic guitars adds a good effect and mark the difference between IR8 and Domain.

GAT ETEMMI is actually the third recording from Domain, a Black/Thrash metal band lurking in the metal underground, calling Poland their home. Starting out under the name Pandemonium, three demo recordings were released before morphing into Domain, naming the first release PANDEMONIUM.

A few months before the recording of “Pandemonium”, Peter had parted ways with the band, and along with leaving he took the name of Pandemonium along with him. Soon after the events with Peter, Paul renamed the band Domain.

It's really a hard job to make Paul say more than just few words – one could say it's like Sysyphus rolling his stone all the way up the hill. Paul is a person not very talkative and whenever he opens his mouth to utter a word, he says whatever he wants to say at the moment. No smiles, no jokes, no cool acting…. It's clear charisma. Sometimes it sends shivers down your spine. He is aware of his position in polish underground. It seems like a miracle he agreed to answer few questions. As a person who makes music which so unpopular in Poland he managed to put a firm stamp on black metal. Well, he is what he is. I must say I'm very glad I had an opportunity to interview him. I'm even more glad when I think how much Domain's new material impressed me. So, you should pay more attention to the word which he doesn't say, but which he could have thought of…
