From the ashes of RAVEN OF FIRE was born REVENANT, a complete thrash metal band (ROF was playing power metal) influenced by CHILDREN OF BODOM, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. Powstali w roku pańskim 1992 pod nazwą CRANTHORPE i od tamtego czasu przeszli wiele przygód, typowych dla każdego zespołu: kilka zmian w składzie (spowodowanych konfliktem interesów) oraz nagranie kilku płyt (demówek oraz z przesłuchań). W roku 1993 zespół przechrzcił się na THE THORN po rozstaniu z jednym z założycieli: Jackiem.

FALSE GOD „Demo”
Jak twierdzą chłopaki z zespołu jest to ich drugie demo umieszczone na krążku CD-R wraz z tekstami i klipem video… Po odpaleniu pierwszych dźwięków dosłownie jakbym się cofnął w czasie, do garażu z przełomu lat 80/90, aczkolwiek o marnej jakości nagranej muzyki zostałem wcześniej poinformowany, więc zgodnie z umową podszedłem do tego z rezerwą.
