This release is very, very difficult for reviewing, because it presents some weird music, not by any chance an easy listen, but, on the other hand shows undeniable musical talent and originality. The inlay of the promo disk says: AN ECLETIC, MIND SHIFTING JOURNEY INTO ANOTHER WORLD FROM A BAND COMMITED TO PUSHING BACK THE BOUNDARIES OF ART.
RAMPAGE „The Arrival”
Congratulation guys! Bands like Rampage from Canada are still here to remind us that heavy metal is still strong and the underground flames are still burning. Labels should get rid of all these nine days' wonder bands they have signed and search the underground for bands like Rampage.
RAVENDUSK „Shadowcast”
Another release from Metal Age productions. This time things are not so good.
REARVIEW „Enjoy”
Rearview is a band that cannot be described as a typical metal band and I do not know if metal is the appropriate word. They could be described as a nu metal band but with less power on its mucic.
RED HARVEST „Sick Transit Gloria Mundi”
It is kind of weird to see a video so amazing like AEP and then, listen the whole album and what you have listened before is not in the similar vein at all. That's what i felt when I listen the whole album.

Three points higher for the beginning: 1) fantastic cover artwork made by J.P.Fournier (Greetings! And thanks for the EXECUTIONER tape, hehe…), who is responsible for the amazing cover artworks done for AVANTASIA, EDGUY and the mighty LONEWOLF. 2) Spanish vocal lines – I truly admire all that bands who sing in their native languages! 3) Great sound and production: album was mastered by his majesty Piet Sielck himself…

RITUAL „Think Like A Mountain”
Ritual’s THINK LIKE A MOUNTAIN is a progressive rock creation from Inside Out Music. Interesting acoustic passages mix with fascinating keyboards and melodic Dream Theater styled vocals on the opening track ‘What Are You Waiting For’.
ROMISLOKUS „s/t”
Romislokus is a band out of Russia; an area not mentioned much in metal. But I have heard other bands from this country including Nordream, Specter, and various others.
RPWL „Stock”
The basic facts are that RPWL started out as a Pink Floyd tribute band back in 1997 and have since released GOD HAS FAILED (2000), TRYING TO KISS THE SUN (2002) and now STOCK (2003). There was also a pre-RPWL release titled VIOLET DISTRICT.
