Amerykański metalcore jeszcze potrafi zaskoczyć. W ogóle uważam, że mimo wszystko metalcore jest elastyczny i można do tej muzyki inkorporować coraz więcej elementów wykraczających poza te przygłupawe schematy.
REDRUM „Veto”
Swego czasu termin alternatywny, inny, nieprzystępny było używane nader często. Oczywiście, przeważnie ten termin właśnie odnosił się do muzyki, a ta pod koniec lat 90 jak i z początku nowego millenium zaczęła przybierać coraz to nowe formy a efektem muzycznych poszukiwań było pojawienie się choćby takich formacji jak Drowning Pool, System of a down czy na prawdę nie lubiany SLIPKNOT.
