VANIR is the group of musicians with a passion for culture and mythology of the Vikings, as shown again on the third album. However, the Metal music created by Vanir belongs to the more rapacious sort of Viking Metal. It is more similar to the Black / Death Metal, where among the heavy and aggressive guitar themes are sounding the aggressive screams and growls. A fast pace are maintaining the combative mood…

However, VANIR it is not only predatory bites but the melodic emanations. The tunes are coming out between heavy and brutal phrases are created by the only woman in the band. She plays the bagpipes. So, beyond the lyrical is another distinct accent of the north-European folklore. These specific, you might say – the stylish sounds – skillfully are intertwined with the furious riffs sometimes creating the truly Folk climate.

The band has created the interesting combination of barbaric Metal with the gentleness of Folk.
