The Cracovian team FORGOTTEN SOULS (which screws in our minds their music) releases the album with Danish Mighty Music. And I ask – why? Has not in our country a label, which wants to show a band, about which the whole Metal Europe will be tell for several months? I believe for that. This situation made me very surprised, but it also made me sad. Because I'm Pole.

The band recorded three materials – “Tomorrow's Dead End” – 2003, “Maeth” – 2005 and “Nine Syndromes” – 2008 (with Rafał Piotrowski from DECAPITATED as the vocalist). “Sirius 12” is the fourth album. The album is worth for attention!!! This is difficult to classify their music for some concrete musical sort. This is the connection of many sorts – from Progressive, Industrial, Gothic till the experimental music and even with the note of Jazz.

The symphonic backings (of keyboards) interweave with the trance arrangements. We encounter astonishing sounds and insertions practically in the every tracks. The heavy guitars join with the interesting keys, which augment the mood of curiosity. And the using of clarinet (!!!) composes with the predatory guitars and the hypnotic drums perfectly. I think the music is on the world level. The brutal strong riffs perfectly interweave with discontinuous, adhesive and “broken” guitars. The different discontinuous sounds fadge to this “mad” music outright ideally. Even if it seems they have not common with any music.

And the vocal of Olaf Różański is separate subject in this disc. You do not encounter such possibilities of vocal every day. Here we have the whole fan of vocals. There are the clean singing, the powerful growl, the black scream and even the operatic singing. This is perfect beauty!

Is it worth to compare the music of FORGOTTEN SOULS to different bands? Probably not. But probably other people will say that music is similar to KORN, ORPHANED LAND, MESHUGGAH. The single listening of this album will not suffice. You should listen the album with hours, hour by hour, because it is worth really. I am under large impression of this release and I wait for next insane album with impatience.
