PROMETHEUS hails from Sweden. Good to see other kinds of metal music that is rising from this land other than death and black.

This band is a mixture of The gathering with heavy riffs and classical piano and keyboard tones. I like this mixing thing. It’s impressive.

Sharon got really angelic voice, very effective but not strong enough to suit the power of this music. May be the music was loud for her. The guitars, and keyboards are much powerful than her voice.

One thing I never tolerate in any band once they have it, “Tough Lyrics”. Here I don’t mean “brutal” but I mean “Heavy”. It’s like some “non-English band” that wants to show how much English vocabulary they know, so they just stick up in one sentence over 10 heavy words. That’s what our band here has done, which is not good. People want easy and memorizable words. Easy words could be more effective and ring in the ear more than an English lesson.
